Our packaging and grading facility is located on the Heritage Farms home farm near Straffordville, ON. It has been modified and changed over the years to meet food safety requirements. Our packaging and grading facility is fully inspected and certified. We will soon need to upgrade to a larger facility.
Our tomato packaging line is an A&B 12 head unit. We grade using a colour sorter and hand grade for final product to ensure the best quality. We package into 1-pint clams and a 20lb bulk pack.
We recently bought a Weigh Pack 10 head scale for our pepper operation. This machine provides accurate weights for our smaller packs like the Mini Sweets 1lb bag. All our peppers are hand graded to ensure the best quality product for our customers. We use state of the art grading and packaging equipment and are always upgrading as needed. We can customize product packaging as well.
